Masomo ya Msingi 8 ni kitabu cha none katika mfululizo wa vitabu vinane vya Kiswahili katika Shute za Msingi. Kilo kimoja cha vitabu hivi Kinakuza masomo ya kitabu kinachofuata. Vitabu hivi vimeandikwa kulingana na matarajio ya ratiba iliyotolewa na taasisi ya elimu (2002). Michoro iliyomo katika kitabu hiki ni ya kupendeza kwa kilo mwanafunzi anayejifunza Kiswahili.
