Longhorn Umilisi wa Kiswahili, Gredi ya 4 (Kitabu cha Mwanafunzi) ni kitabu kilichoandaliwa na kuandikwa kwa kuzingatia mtaala wa umilisi wa masomo ya shule za msingi, daraja la juu nchini Kenya.

Kitabu hiki:

* Kimekusudia kumwezesha mwanafunzi kukuza na kujenga ujuzi na uwezo wa kutumia stadi za lugha (kusikiliza, kuzungumza, kusoma na kuandika) kikamilifu kupitia utendaji na uvumbuzi wa maarifa.

* Kimeandikwa kwa lugha rahisi inayoeleweka na kwa kutoa mifano mwafaka kutoka katika mazingira tofautitofauti.

* Kimeshughulikia masuala mtambuko kama vile: uraia, utangamano, elimu ya amani, stadi za maisha, mazingira, elimu ya maendeleo endelevu, teknolojia na afya bora.
