The Joy of Poetry for Secondary Schools

Many students have a phobia for poetry; and some teachers feel they are not sufficiently equipped to handle this genre. And yet poetry is the oldest, the most pleasing, in fact, the most musical of all the literary genres. The big question then is: why don’t students enjoy poetry?
