In the days when Ahab was King of Israel. a lot of sinful things happened. There was too much worship of idols. King Ahab and his wife, Jezebel, had forced all the people into worshipping Baal. Because of this, God sent Elijah to King Ahab to tell him that he had done evil. God promised to punish the entire nation of Israel. He was going to cause drought for three years. King Ahab was annoyed by the bad message which was delivered by Elijah. The king wanted to kill the prophet. Elijah had to run for his life. Who would hide Elijah from the king’s anger? Where would Elijah hide in King Ahab’s kingdom? Did Elijah survive the wrath of King Ahab?
